Limited warranty
A documented process for product claims.
This model policy sets a transparent baseline. The warranty attached to the accepted quotation or supply agreement controls each order.
Coverage
Manufacturing and material defects
Global Tire Export warrants eligible new tires supplied by us against substantiated defects in workmanship and materials during the applicable warranty period stated in the sales contract, provided the tire was correctly selected, stored, mounted, maintained, and used for its intended service.
This limited warranty applies to the original purchasing customer and is not automatically transferable. It is an adjustment warranty, not an unconditional service-life or mileage guarantee.
Order-specific terms control
Product category, brand program, market, and contract may require different periods or adjustment formulas. Publish final legal terms only after review by qualified counsel in the selling and destination jurisdictions.
What is not covered
- Normal tread wear, cosmetic appearance that does not affect service, or performance dissatisfaction without a verified defect
- Road hazard, impact, puncture, cut, collision, fire, vandalism, chemical exposure, ozone/weather checking from improper storage, or external damage
- Underinflation, overinflation, overload, excessive speed, run-flat operation, mismatched duals, poor alignment, mechanical irregularity, or inadequate maintenance
- Incorrect application, mounting/demounting damage, improper repair, alteration, regrooving where not authorized, or use of an unsuitable rim
- Racing, competition, intentional abuse, or use outside the tire’s stated load, speed, and service limitations
- Labor, downtime, lost profit, towing, freight, taxes, consequential loss, or third-party charges unless expressly accepted in writing
How to submit a claim
- Notify export sales promptly and reference the invoice and affected quantity.
- Provide size, brand/pattern, DOT/TIN or serial information, mounting date, removal date, remaining tread measurements, axle/equipment position, and operating conditions.
- Provide clear photographs of the full tire, both sidewalls, tread, bead, identification markings, and the failure area from multiple angles.
- Retain the tire and do not repair, scrap, or return it until written instructions are issued.
- Where inspection is necessary, coordinate location, freight, and ownership of test costs before shipment.
Claim evaluation and adjustment
Technical review considers the physical evidence, service history, maintenance information, remaining usable tread, and likely failure mechanism. Approval may result in a credit, replacement, or other remedy stated in the governing contract. Any adjustment is calculated using the contract method and may account for service already received.
Safety notice
Immediately remove from service any tire showing bulges, exposed cords, separation, rapid air loss, severe cracking, bead damage, or other condition that may make continued operation unsafe. Warranty evaluation should never delay a safety-related removal decision.
