A successful PCR import program begins with the local vehicle population, wheel-size trends and dealer sell-through—not the longest possible size list. Core touring sizes can provide dependable turnover, while performance sizes require more careful forecasting. Touring tire engineering balances tread life, wet braking, rolling resistance, noise and ride. Ultra-high-performance designs shift priorities toward steering response, high-speed stability and water evacuation. No single pattern can lead every attribute, so the commercial offer should clearly identify the intended use and available test or labeling information.
Export and manufacturing
US programs require review of applicable DOT identification and, where relevant, Uniform Tire Quality Grading obligations. Canadian, Australian and UK importers have separate labeling, registration and market-surveillance duties. Fuel efficiency, wet grip and external noise ratings are product-specific and must come from valid test or label data; they are not assigned generically by size.
OEM and private-label services include brand placement, pattern naming, labels, barcodes, packaging and regional product-line planning. Buyers receive production minimums, lead-time assumptions, loading estimates and technical documentation for the selected program. Final speed, load, dimensions and certification information is approved before production.
